The punishment for a society that puts a higher value on reality tv show characters than learning about world events or how their government works. America...land of the free...unfortunately many of us exercised our "freedom" to not vote, or challenge their government or elections processes. The presidencey is not an office that can or should be occupied "the guy I'd like to have a beer with". For crops to grow, seeds must be planted, watered and nurtured. You cannot simply WANT Garden Vegetables, you have to do what is necessary to grow them. The same is true for the quality of our lives in the United States. The Public has always had it's "option".
